• Location data: GPS coordinates when you use nearby restaurants or tag food locations (only when you grant permission)
• Usage data: Food flips, buddy interactions, and points earned
• Device info: Device type, OS version, and advertising ID for ad personalization

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide food suggestions and nearby restaurant results
• Enable buddy features (feed, challenges, leaderboard)
• Display relevant advertisements (Google AdMob)
• Improve app experience and fix bugs

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Google Sign-In: Authentication only — we receive your name, email, and profile photo
• OpenStreetMap: Your location to find nearby restaurants
• Google AdMob: Device/ad ID for ad serving
• Your buddies: Food tags and activity visible to friends you add

4. Data Storage

Data is stored on AWS servers in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app (Profile → Delete Account). Upon deletion, all personal data including food tags, buddy connections, and profile information are permanently removed.

6. Children's Privacy

EatFlip is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

• Access your data via the app
• Request data deletion
• Opt out of personalized ads via device settings
• Revoke location permission at any time

8. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
